Nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas, this college is surrounded by lush greenery and the serene environment of Shri Sapt Rishi Ashram on the banks of the Ganges, making it an ideal place for learning and education. Shri Jagaddev Singh Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, Sapt Rishi Ashram, Sapt Sarovar, Haridwar, which was inaugurated in 19 by the revered Goswami Ganesh Dutt Ji Maharaj at the hands of India’s first Prime Minister, Shri Jawaharlal Nehru, is a testament to the blend of traditional and modern education. The revered Goswami Ganesh Dutt Ji Maharaj envisioned an institution where the ancient wisdom of Sanskrit and Vedic traditions could flourish alongside contemporary academic subjects. His vision was to create an environment that fosters intellectual development, moral integrity, and spiritual growth. It is important and interesting to note that the ideals that inspired the naming of this institution, Shri Jagaddev Singh Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, Sapt Rishi Ashram, Sapt Sarovar, Haridwar, are deeply ingrained in the soul of our college.
